Presenter

Sara is a researcher in the Computer Sciences department at the Barcelona Supercomputer Center (BSC). She got her PhD in Computers Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) with cum laude distinction in 2018. Sara specializes in High-Performance Computing and Critical Real-Time Systems, particularly in compilers, runtimes, and analysis tools for enhancing performance, portability, safety, and usability. Sara is also interested in LLMs for code transformations and optimizations, as well as AI applied to the previously mentioned topics. Sara is co-founder of the MAR chapter of WHPC and devotes some efforts on several EDI activities.
