Biography
Shashwitha Puttaswamy ( Shash ) is an accomplished electrical engineer with more than 10 years of experience in computer networks, specializing in network research and cyberinfrastructure. Having held significant roles at institutions like the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) and The George Washington University, they are known for enhancing infrastructure for high-profile projects, including those related to the Large Hadron Collider. An expert in high-performance computing (HPC), they possess a deep understanding of all phases of IT and network management, from design and implementation to optimization. Shash was honored with the Innovation in Networking award for their groundbreaking work on data transfer applications, which set new records and accelerated scientific discovery.
