Vijay Dwivedi
Biography
Vijay Dwivedi is a postdoctoral scholar at Stanford University, where he focuses on improving structured data understanding in modern AI systems. He holds a PhD from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, and has made fundamental contributions to methods for learning on large-scale, richly-structured graph data. He pioneered Graph Transformers, which have substantially advanced the field of graph learning, playing a key role in the development of foundation models for graphs and powering cutting-edge relational systems that serve billions of predictions. In addition, Vijay has developed methods to enhance large language models (LLMs) for relational structured data and to adapt them to a wide range of applications, including in healthcare. For his research, he received one of the Outstanding PhD Thesis awards from the NTU College of Computing and Data Science in 2024 and a Rising Star in AI 2025 recognition from KAUST, Saudi Arabia.
