Biography
During my Ph.D., I studied stony coral tissue loss disease (SCTLD) using comparative transcriptomics. My research utilizes gene expression analyses to describe SCTLD pathogenesis at the cellular level and identifies risk factors associated with variations in disease susceptibility.
At the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC), I serve on the Life Sciences Computing group and collaborate closely with fellow researchers to enhance and develop advanced computation workflows, pushing the boundaries of computational biology.
Beyond my professional endeavors, I am an avid SCUBA diver and am passionate about raising climate change awareness to protect our coral reefs.
