Presenter

Lang Xu is a PhD student at The Ohio State University under Professor DK Panda in the Network-Based Computing Laboratory. His research interests include high-performance networking and distributed deep learning (large model training and inferencing). He has published papers in conferences including CCGrid, HiPC, IPDPS Workshop, and others. Particularly, he is focusing on communication and networking strategies to enable efficient large-scale ML systems. Lang actively contributes to the MVAPICH library and the HiDL Project. He is an IEEE graduate student member.
