Exhibitor Description
The San Diego Supercomputer Center, known as SDSC, is one of the nation’s premier centers for high-performance and data-intensive computing, as well as cyberinfrastructure. It was one of the five institutions funded by the U.S. National Science Foundation in the 1980s to support the nation’s growing scientific computing and data processing needs. Located at the University of California San Diego—just steps from the beautiful shores of La Jolla, the Pacific Ocean, and San Diego’s Biotech core—SDSC is the only center of its kind in the world-renowned University of California (UC) campus system.
