Exhibitor Description
Pacific Wave is a distributed, Research and Education focused, open Internet Exchange. The exchange provides high-performance Internet connectivity among US Science and Engineering R&E institutions and their international partners and is critical infrastructure for high-performance access to internationally supported instruments and large-scale data sources and repositories. Participants also leverage new capabilities, such as the CENIC AI resource (CENIC-AIR) in California. With distributed peering points in Seattle, Sunnyvale, and Los Angeles connected via its 400Gbps backbone, the joint project between the Corporation for Education Network Initiatives in California (CENIC) and the Pacific Northwest Gigapop supports 29 networks representing over 47 countries.
