Alabama Supercomputer Authority (ASA) is a high-performing State technology organization that provides a broad range of specialized IT and cyber security services to Alabama’s education and research community and partners. ASA’s high-speed statewide network, the Alabama Research and Education Network (AREN), connects and provides Internet for K12 school systems and schools, community colleges, public libraries, and universities. ASA provides a range of data applications and web applications for education and workforce development. ASA provides high performance computing (HPC) resources and services from the Alabama Supercomputer Center based in Huntsville.
